Hi,

so this week was good. We taught a lot of lessons. We should be seeing a lot more success in the next few weeks. So far, today (Pday) I was able to play the piano at the church for a while. It felt good. But I also felt like I am very much out of practice. My hands just don't remember what they used to. I also got to play for a while last night at a member's home. They have a nice Yamaha baby grand piano and a lot of good sheet music. I also played the organ for a while today, and it didn't feel like I thought it would. The keys were stiff and the pipes needed tuning. Oh well. I'm much more comfortable at the piano. Speaking to me, Elder Felix noted "You really know how to control the piano. You make it so much more than just playing an instrument" Elder Felix is a musician as well. He plays the trombone. He also plays piano. He's very good. He knows music theory like a pro. He's helping me to learn a little more about theory as I teach him sign language. Anyway, enough of the piano.

My stomach has been hurting for the past few days. I dont know how to explain it. It's never hurt like this before. I'm sure I'm fine. My back is the same as always. My headaches have stopped coming so frequently although I had a slight one last night. I really let myself go. I'm huge. My waist has stretched to a whopping 46. I've had to buy new slacks and a new belt. I never button my top button on my shirt. My double chin drags along the ground as I walk. My whole body jiggles when I brush my teeth. And I sink deep into my bed every night. I'm so enormously fat. Ok most of that is a joke. I'm just a little flabby hahaha. gotcha.

k bye

Hello Family,

so this week was really strange.
After transfers, like...3 days after, another Elder had to go home for shoulder surgery. Him and his companion were serving in Woodcrest. (I served there for 3 months.) So his companion needed a new companion. The Zone Leaders called and told us that WE would be his new companions! So we moved back to Woodcrest that night. Part of the transfers included Elder Figueroa coming back to Woodcrest as well! The area is split now. With the three of us living at the Salem's home. I'm excited. Our new companion's name is Elder Felix. He's from Brigham City. He's really cool.
I spent my Pday outside practicing my baton twirling skills. My hands are really sore now. Also, my legs...I think it's from all the squatting to pick up the baton when I drop it. Anyway, it was fun. I didn't even feel girly.

So, I don't really know what else to say...oh Mom, about my scrapbook. You can put whatever pictures you want in there. Of course I will look at it a lot. I didn't even know you were making one! Thanks :) I'll try to take better pictures from now on.

If you can, please send back the blank sd card. The one I have is full. 4g can hold 774 pictures. It's full. I keep deleting some pictures so I can take better ones. Anyway, I probably wont fill the blank one again by the time I come home. AAhhhh scary thought. Ok, well bye!

ok so this week was hard. Not because of missionary reasons or thinking of home or any of that. I've just paid too much attention to myself. I don't know if that makes sense right now, but whatever.
Transfer calls. Nothing changed for me. Elder Jackson and I are still companions in the Deaf Branch. Knowing that basically means that I'm staying in this situation until I'm done.
One of our investigators came to church yesterday. It almost didn't happen because her ride called last minute and canceled. But we found someone else willing to drive an extra hour or so to pick her up. That was nice.

I haven't been able to sleep. I'm kinda sick. My sinuses were congested, causing headaches every night. One of the nights, I figured it was just plain dumb laying in bed all night not being able to sleep, so I read my journal. From Thanksgiving of 2011 to just before I left the MTC. I wrote a little in my current journal as well. I decided to try to get some rest after realizing it was already 4am. The past two nights I've been able to sleep pretty well. I hope I can keep it up.

I'm trying really hard to think of some good news or at least something positive to say. . . I took some pictures, I have about 750 pictures on my sd card right now. So send the blank one soon. You'll have a lot to look at, if you ever look at them. Here are some now. This is the same horse from Woodcrest. "Pretz"

Hey,

So like, this week was pretty good.
A few more people are getting closer to baptism.
I guess the main story I wanted to share from this week was about another investigator from the Woodcrest area.
His name is Jeremiah. Honestly, he has an interesting way of thinking. He says some very interesting things, too.
The other Elders had been teaching him for months and they wouldn't give up because Jeremiah seemed so willing to learn. He finally called them yesterday morning and said that he needed to get baptized right away. So Elder Jackson had to interview him. We drove up there and an hour and a half later, he passed his interview. We attended the baptism and it went really well.

I guess I don't really have anything else to say.
I'm planning on sending a box home. please do not open it. Just put it in my closet for when I come home. Thanks.
